ABOUT THE PROJECT
Ideas, history, and the question of how civilizations remain themselves while engaging the world.
Merajism is an independent intellectual project exploring Iranian history, culture, language, and civilizational transformation.
The project grew from my work on Iranian Wisdom: The Warp and Weft of the Iranian Plateau and from a broader attempt to understand how societies encounter other civilizations without either withdrawing from the world or simply imitating it.
At the center of this work are the concepts of World-Linking Wisdom (Kherad-e Jahan-Peyvand) and Civilizational Balance — an attempt to describe how a culture can transform through contact with the world while preserving its capacity for independent creation.
This website brings together my books, published articles, essays, working ideas, and future research.
